It’s almost Christmas time at our apartments in McKinney, TX. Spread some festive cheer around your apartment in McKinney Village with these easy Christmas crafts:
Make a forest of pinecone Christmas trees or even stocking stuffers out of this craft. You will need pinecones, green spray paint, old wine corks, scissors, hot glue gun, and miniature wooden stars. First, spray paint the outer edges of the pinecone with green spray paint. Let the paint dry. Cut a wine cork in half and hot glue the half to the bottom of the pinecone. Let the glue dry. Lastly, hot glue the star to the top.
This natural floating candle can be used anywhere in your home that needs a little more Christmas cheer. Place a fake leafy branch at the bottom of a Mason jar. Fill the jar two thirds with water. Lastly, drop a handful of cranberries and a floating candle for the finishing touches.
These cute snowman ornaments are easy to make and light up! You will need battery operated tea lights, a black and orange sharpie, red ribbon, black felt, and a glue gun. Create the top hat for your snowman out of the black felt. Glue the hat to the top of the LED tea light. Tie a two-inch piece of red ribbon into a loop and glue the knot to the tea light behind the top hat. Use the black sharpie to create the eyes and smile. Place two dots below the top hat for the eyes. Below the plastic candle flame, place four dots to make the smile. Lastly, color the flame orange with the other sharpie to make the carrot nose. Turn the tea light on and hang your glowing snowman ornament on your tree!
