This venue can even be rented out for special events. The Comedy Arena is open Thursday from 7 to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 7 to 11 p.m.

Brews & Wine

Franconia Brewing Company creates delicious, local, Bavarian inspired brews. These German-style beers are made by Dennis Wehrmann, who grew up with a family of brew masters. Franconia Brewing Company is also a green company that seeks to conserve energy, water, and transportation to help the planet. Try your favorite type of beer here, like a Dunkel, a Kolsch, or just a Lager. Make sure you stop by for a seasonal draft, as well! Franconia makes a full bodied Oktoberfest beer that releases in September, and a Baltic Porter that comes out in December, January and February.

If you’re not one for beer, McKinney is also home to many wineries, like Landon Winery and Mitas Hill Vineyard & Winery. At the Landon Winery, you can taste three different wines for $10, and the Mitas Hill Vineyard serves more than just wine and cheese! Taste some wine and enjoy a wood fired pizza!
